First Friday Art Walk

Friday 9/1, 5-9pm

Come celebrate local artists who will show work throughout Old Town and Cottonwood Square. Niwot businesses stay open late and most offer refreshments; there’s often music in the streets and in front some businesses. 

Live Music from 5:30-7:30pm

Join Inkberry Books for First Friday Art Walk September 1, 2023 from 5:00 - 8:00, featuring the exhibit "Street Life City View" by photographer Kenneth Wajda. Wajda takes to the street to look for stories that are waiting to be found, lives that need to be documented, and pictures that need to be made.

Music in Cottonwood Square 5:30 - 7:00 with Nalani on acoustic bass and vocals.

Book Fair for Adults!

Friday 9/1, 5-8pm | The Wandering Jellyfish Bookshop

We love hosting book fairs for adults, and this time, we're hosting it right here in our shop! Stop by and peruse our books for adults while enjoying a little wine and appetizers! Oh, and did we mention all adult hardcover books will be 20% off during the book fair? Yeah, that too.

The Why Not Niwot Juried Art Show Awards Ceremony and Artist’s Reception

Friday 9/1, 6-9pm

at Osmosis Gallery and the former Feed Store on 2nd Avenue in downtown Niwot. The Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band will  perform.

Last year 60 voters visited all eight merchants who displayed the art, and six lucky voters won a print of the winning art in a random drawing.

Dancing Under the Stars: Cuban Salsa!

Friday 9/1,  7pm | Cottonwood Square

Located outdoors amongst Niwot’s great independent stores, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops, come and have a beautiful Summer evening in Niwot! Parking is plentiful and free either in Cottonwood Square or the surrounding area.

Live Music at The Wheel House

Thursday 8/31, 9-11pm
Swing the night away this Thursday with Jeremy Mohney and his band! You won’t want to miss this night of live music and dancing with one of Colorado's premier swing bands.

Sunday 9/2, 7-9pm
On Saturday night, join us for Skip & Gayn. Skip Strickland and Gaynor Nelson perform a variety of genres, including Bluegrass, Contemporary Folk and Americana. Guitar, mandolin and vocal harmonies make up the unique sound "Skip & Gayn" are known for.
