Jackson Maloney is a gifted local singer songwriter and folk musician.  He currently records original work at Dharma Farm, his barn-turned-music-venue at his home in Hygiene CO.

Friday 8/4, 7-9pm
Swing Aggregate is a jazz band hailing from Boulder led by guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Dan Buller. Swing Aggregate is an amalgamation of Jazz, Bebop, Gypsy Jazz and New Orleans styles, creating a unique sound that takes influence from several different Jazz idioms.

First Friday Art Walk

Come celebrate local artists who will show work throughout Old Town and Cottonwood Square. Niwot businesses stay open late and most offer refreshments; there’s often music in the streets and in front some businesses. Before and after the art walk, plan happy hour or dinner at one of Niwot’s wonderful locally owned restaurants.

Bondi Art Show

Michael Bondi's annual art show returns. Be enthralled by Bondi's evocative, beautifully composed scenes inspired by the artist’s trips to Italy, France, & Greece. Bondi’s richly colored, delicate paintings feature windowsill flowers lit up by the sun, cobblestone streets, and harbor life in the Mediterranean. Original watercolors and prints will be available in a variety of sizes.

First Friday Art Walk at Inkberry Books

Please join us for a reception for the opening of "Mediterranean Land and Seascapes : Photos by Gene Hayworth and Keith Waters." Light refreshments will be served.

Malia Maunakea, author of the middle-grade novel Lei and the Fire Goddess, will talk about remixing myths and legends to create imaginative new stories. Attendees will work through identifying which myth from their own childhood excites them, digging deeper into how to develop a unique spin on an existing world.

Join the TWJ team inside the Wandering Jellyfish Bookshop for a fun-filled storytime with reading, singing, and movement! Chosen books and songs are geared toward ages 2 to 6 but may be swapped out for more appropriate materials and activities depending on the audience's age range.
