Friday 8/18,  7pm | Cottonwood Square

Located outdoors amongst Niwot’s great independent stores, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops, come and have a beautiful Summer evening in Niwot! Parking is plentiful and free either in Cottonwood Square or the surrounding area.

Join local author and illustrator Kaz Windness for an end of summer/back to school storytime! Kaz will read from a selection of her books, including Bitsy Bat, School Star, and Colorado Book Award winner Swim, Jim! This is an excellent way to say farewell to summer and embrace the new school year.

The Old Oak Coffeehouse presents the House Blend Band

Saturday 8/19, 6-9pm | 2nd Avenue between Franklin and Murray

Bring your chairs and dancing shoes for a fun evening of music! This month's concert also features the community highlights of pre-show tunes from the LOCO Ukulele group, as well as songs from the Niwot Gig's youth band, the Night Owls, during intermission! Spaghetti will be served! See you there!

Live Stand-up Comedy Show

Saturday 8/19, 7pm | Inkberry Books

Lady Mondegreen, D. presents its fourth monthly comedy show "Fancy Red Sarong" at Inkberry Books with host Philip Ogren and featured comedians Pedro Silva, Carl Pieken, and Gracie Leonard. This event will be indoors. Please come share some laughter with us as we perform original stand-up comedy. Cost is free, but tips are appreciated!

Join the TWJ team inside the Wandering Jellyfish Bookshop for a fun-filled storytime with reading, singing, and movement! Chosen books and songs are geared toward ages 2 to 6 but may be swapped out for more appropriate materials and activities depending on the audience's age range.
