2026 Why Not Niwot? Awards Night

Join us for the closing celebration of 2026 Why Not Niwot?, our juried art show featuring the uniqueness of Niwot. Fifteen years in, forty works by twenty Colorado artists fill Niwot Hall, and this is the night we celebrate the work and name this year’s winners.
The evening kicks off at 5:30pm with the Niwot Semi-Marching Free Grange Band, including a Dolly Parton tribute, ahead of the awards. The band resumes after the announcements of our winners as picked by the Jury panel.
Niwot Hall’s reception opens at 6:30pm with refreshments and items featuring the Grand Prize winning artwork, including cards, prints, and wine, available that evening for donation.
It’s also your last chance for People’s Choice voting. Voting closes at 7:30pm, with the winner announced shortly after, along with a drawing for a print of the winning piece from the cast ballots.
Available pieces can be purchased that evening and online throughout the show. Every sale supports the artists and the Niwot Cultural Arts Association.
