2026 Why Not Niwot? Awards Night

Join us for the closing celebration of 2026 Why Not Niwot?, our juried art show featuring the uniqueness of Niwot. Fifteen years in, forty works by twenty Colorado artists fill Niwot Hall, and this is the night we celebrate the work and name this year’s winners.
The evening kicks off around 6pm with a few songs from the Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band, followed by the awards:
- Judges’ Special Awards
- Third Place
- Second Place
- Grand Prize Winner
After the awards, Niwot Hall opens for the full closing exhibition. Enjoy refreshments alongside all forty entries, and take home a piece of the show: cards, prints, and commemorative wine featuring the grand prize piece will be available.
You get a vote, too. People’s Choice voting runs through the evening and closes around 7:30pm, with the winner announced shortly after.
Available pieces can be purchased that evening and online throughout the show. Every sale supports the artists and the Niwot Cultural Arts Association.
