Niwot Paints the Town
Niwot Paints the Town, an art auction and community happy hour, is a joint fundraiser for Niwot Hall and the Niwot Cultural Arts Association.
Niwot Hall, a beloved community landmark, is raising funds for its Next Century Project which encompasses creating a courtyard, stage, and storage building behind the Hall, as well as painting the exterior of the building and replacing windows.
Niwot Cultural Arts Association is raising funds to return the restored Eddie Running Wolf’s majestic tree carvings to Niwot on the corner of Niwot Road and 83rd Street and protect them with a tipi-like shelter accessible to the public.
Drinks and appetizers will be served during the first hour as guests mingle while being serenaded by a professional guitarist, and peruse the gorgeous paintings by local artists, many of whom are award winners. Each painting will be up for bids in either a silent or an exuberant live auction. There will also be drawings for additional gifts donated by local retailers such as jewelry, wine, gift certificates for dinners in town.
