Live Music with Jackson Maloney
Jackson Maloney is a singer-songwriter and folk musician based in Hygiene, Colorado. Originally from Northern California, he moved out to the Front Range in 2012 to attend college at CU Boulder.
A creative writing class his Sophomore year re-ignited a younger love for prose, poetry, and songwriting. He dove headfirst into the likes of Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and other songwriters in an attempt to discover his own sound and voice.
In 2019, he released his debut album Things To Live For, inspired by his love for the written word, the natural world, and the sounds of the western landscape. In 2021, he released Dharma Farm, a 6-song EP recorded in the barn-turned-music-venue at the property where he now lives.
His self-titled third album (out on April 14) showcases the originality he’s developed over years of songwriting to deliver listeners a true sonic portrait of Jackson Maloney.
