4th of July in Niwot
Celebrate Independence Day in Niwot, Colorado. This year marks the USA Semiquincentennial, America’s 250th birthday, and Niwot is marking it with a full morning of free family activities in the heart of downtown.
Activities begin at Niwot Market in Cottonwood Square. Bring the family, run the mile, decorate a bike, grab breakfast, and stake out a spot along the parade route.
Schedule of Events
- 7:30am — Niwot Mile. A downhill mile starting at Niwot High School and finishing at Niwot Market. Adult and kids (12 and under) categories, with prize money and age-group awards. Proceeds support the Robert Steele Wrestling Scholarship Fund. Register here
- 7:30 to 10:30am — Bert’s Pancake Breakfast at Niwot Market
- 8:30 to 10:30am — Bike Decorating
- 9 to 10am — Patriotic Concert
- 10:30am — Parade Lineup
- 11am — 4th of July Parade featuring the Grand Marshal, bands and music, fire engines, classic vehicles, decorations, flags, and more

- Second Avenue to Murray Street
