About
The Niwot Historical Society’s mission is to collect, preserve, and protect the history of Niwot in our archived materials. We share the history of Niwot and the surrounding area with displays in the Fire House Museum, Coloring & Activity pages, newsletters, and for over a decade with our NOW&THEN Lecture Series.
We welcome new members via our website and we are a 501 3(c) organization if you want to donate. There are volunteer opportunities if you want to become involved.

Niwot was platted in 1875 by Porter T. Hinman and Ambrose S. Murray.
