It will highlight established Native artists but also will welcome emerging Indigenous artists, providing them a place to share and sell their art.\nNative artisans will have booths to display and sell their wares – helping attendees to connect directly with the artists and experience the rich traditions and contemporary artistry of Indigenous communities.\nAdmission. Free!\nDonations. Please consider providing a donation to help support participating Native artists through the EventBrite webpage.\nParticipating Artists\n\nKristina Maldonado Bad Hand (Sicangu Lakota/Cherokee) and Rafael Maldonado Bad Hand (Nahua).Kristina and Rafael are with Create áYA and are helping to co-sponsor this event with the NCAA.\nTom Myer (Hodinǫ̱hsǫ́:nih/Ngäbe-Buglé). He works digitally and is heavily influenced by Native mythology, science fiction, and pop culture.\nHarry Teller (Navajo). Harry is a silversmith and creates gorgeous earrings and other jewelry.\nMarie Yellowhawk (Navajo). Marie is a beadworker who draws on her Navajo heritage to create stunning and intricate designs.\nApashee Art (Apache/Navajo). Apashee Art is an Indigenous, LGBTQ artist known for their unique ink and character design art, blending cultural heritage with bold, contemporary expression.\nNico Strange Owl (Northern Cheyenne)/ Nico runs Eagle Plume’s Trading Post just outside Estes Park.\nDustin Wolf (Northern Cheyenne)/ Dustin is an oil painter, wood carver, and mask maker.\nRod Velarde (Jicarilla Apache). Rod calls his art Native Pop – his work is heavily influenced by Star Wars and Marvel Comics.\nStarr Vipi Arens (Hawaiian).
