About Sweetbird Studio
My jewelry and folk art is a blend of all my loves; the Southwest, eclectic pop/Americana art, and playful wit.
Irreverent, whimsical, often ironic and sometimes bittersweet. Sterling silver, found objects, recycled tins, stones and baubles are just some of the elements I use in my work, but most of all the main ingredient in my work is SOUL.
In this age of big box, the soul longs for the connection to what is real and authentic. For this reason I call my jewelry "wearable shrines of intention," and it is my hope that these wearable icons will bring a smile to your face and a spark to your soul.
