Nostalgia Day and Parade - Saturday, September 11th, 2010
“Get to know Niwot” celebrates everyone and everything that makes Niwot a great place to live and play. It is also appropriate this year, given the restoration of the Grange and the continuing Cottonwood-tree carvings by Native American artist, Eddie Running Wolf.
Daytime Festivities
The Day kicks off with a Pancake Breakfast at 7:30 to 10 at Niwot Market.
Vendor and Food Booths open at 9:30 along 2nd Avenue.
The Parade begins at 10 through Old Town Niwot and along Niwot Road; Grand Marshall – Grangers.
Niwot Merchants will be open 10 to 5.
Kid’s Games, Puppet Shows from 11 to 2.
Left Hand Grange Re-Opening from 11 to 3.
Niwot Timberline Symphony Orchestra at Colterra from 11:30 to 1.
Five Buck Duck Race at Niwot Road and Sawtooth Lane at 2.
Nighttime Festivities
Niwot Merchants close at 5.
Restaurants & Food Booths ready to serve in Cottonwood Square at 5:30.
The Live Music scheduled for this evening in Cottonwood Square:
Bassline Band from 5:45 to 6:45 (Niwot High Classic Rock Band);
Nacho Men from 7 to 10 (70s and 80s Dance Band)
Nostalgia Day wraps up at 10.
